Delegates attending the 10th World Trade Organisation (WTO) Ministerial Conference at KICC in Nairobi, have pointed out the major disappointment they have faced since Tuesday.
Some officials said they were not able to access variety of meals while at the conference, adding that they only had snacks and beverages served at the KICC cafeteria.
Professor Gunesh Himgimire from India, mentioned that though the venue was perfect, the organizers did not plan how the visitors were going to access food.
Kaberi Maitraya, a TV journalist from Bangladesh, also pointed out that she had a difficult time finding food of her choice while at the conference.
“We are getting problems in accessing food facilities. There is only one cafeteria providing snacks and beverages for the delegates and journalists. But Kenya is a wonderful country,” Maitraya was quoted by the Standard…..read more
